[Pkg-openldap-devel] Bug#372194: slapd fails on 2.4 kernel

Package: slapd
Version: 2.3.23-1
Severity: important

slapd silently dies after startup when running on the 2.4 kernel. This
appears to be because of missing epoll(4) support prior to 2.6. There should
at least be a warning somewhere in package description or Debconf that <2.6
is not supported.
