Yes, the bugs assigned to binaries will be picked up fine, it's just the
ones assigned to the source that would need reassigning.  Even reassigning
bugs from source packages is problematic, because version tracking across
the name change boundary is broken; but that's not so major that I would
stand in the way of that rename if that's the consensus.
