[Pkg-openldap-devel] auto-stop on remove

Okay, so after some digging I found that some parts of the scripts are added automagically and you can't just look at the debian directory in the source package. The "slapd stop" is in the binary package and I will attempt to diagnose why it failed on my machine. Sorry for the interruption!

Subject: auto-stop on remove

I noticed that slapd isn't stopped during the process of "apt-get remove slapd", I'd be happy to submit a patch to do this, but from browsing some other packages (samba and upsd), I'm not sure there's an official Debian policy on what should be done.

Would you take a patch that did a "slapd stop" in the slapd.prerm script?
