Hi, I have the same bug with slapd 2.4.23-7 amd64: dpkg-reconfigure slapd are not applied. The only solution that I found is to remove the repertory /etc/ldap/slapd.d ; in this case, dpkg-reconfigure slapd works and create a good new configuration. Best Regards.
