I've been following along with the commit mails and everything looks good to
me.  I don't think I'll have time for a more in-depth review before
Wednesday.

I guess this is for bug #330695, right?  Please note that the rationale
given in that bug ("needed for multiarch") is somewhat out of date.  The
pending multiarch implementation in dpkg includes support for reference
counting of files shared between architectures, so both
/usr/share/man/man5/ldap.conf.5.gz and /etc/ldap/ldap.conf are fine from a
multiarch perspective.

They are still an issue wrt policy and library soname changes, but we've
survived using Replaces: this far; I guess there's no real hurry to change
but that it's fine if you want to split them out (as long as it's ok with
the ftpmasters too).

If you do split it out, please make sure the new package has the field
'Multi-Arch: foreign' set so that it's fully multiarch-ready. :)
