[Pkg-openldap-devel] RFC: introducing slapd-contrib binary package

Hi again,

It turned into a bit of a project, but eventually I evaluated (built and
tested) everything under contrib/slapd-modules/.

I pushed a branch to alioth for review, accessible via git:

git clone -b contrib git://git.debian.org/users/rtandy-guest/openldap.git

or gitweb:

http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=users/rtandy-guest/openldap.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/contrib

The top 6 commits (i.e. master..contrib) are relevant.

I'd appreciate a sanity check, however brief, of that branch before I
push it to the main repository. (No hurry. I know you're busy.)

I omitted several modules for different reasons, such as being obsolete
or discouraged from being used, or for not yet supporting cn=config.

I'd like to include the conversion scripts for pw-apr1 [1,2] as
examples, but the copyright notices are a little vague. I expect Devin
intended for them to be covered by the OpenLDAP license, like apr1.c
itself, but I should probably email him and ask for that to be made
explicit, right?
