In which case we wouldn't need alternative's for mpiexec?  Sounds too good to
be true.  Maybe all MPI variants just handle it via alternatives.  Manuel may
know this best.

As a cross-check, I uses packages.debian.org to look for /usr/bin/mpiexec:

   You have searched for filenames that contain /usr/bin/mpiexec in suite sid, all sections, and all architectures.

   Sorry, your search gave no results

Doesn't smell right either.  Hm...
