Sorry for stepping in late. Hardware breakage and holidays kept me from
following the discussion. Both are "fixed" now. ;)

I'll try to re-read the discussion because I just had a quick glace at
it. I'll try to build on 32 bit but (unfortunately) I do not have access
to native i386 anymore. I have used an i386 chroot with no problems in
the past, so I think this will work out as well.
