Agreed. I try to fix them as well when I can -- and when I can't because it
an upstream issue in their buildsystem etc I rather liberally apply lintian
overrides.  IMHO we should do likewise.

Can you email the warnings and possibly what they say when piped into
lintian-info: 'lintian foo | lintian-info'

No worries. You're doing good -- I devote even less time to ompi given how
much time gets soaked up with other (mostly R/Debian) stuff....
