As stated already, I'm sad about that but totally understand your
decision. Feel free to stay in touch with us via bugreports!

Also, if you're visiting the country again for some R thingie or so,
drop a note! ;)

I'm not so sure about that but I'll try my best. At the moment Open MPI
feels like a lot more than I can handle but this is mostly due to RL
constraints. I'm currently in the process of fixing several bugs but
some of them require coordination with other people involved, so this
process will take some time. Don't expect miracles happening soonish! ;)
