Openmpi is not built with gridengine support. In the past, gridengine 
support was present, according to
https://www.sit.auckland.ac.nz/Sun_Grid_Engine .

Gridengine support can be enabled by passing --with-sge to the configure
script. See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openmpi/+bug/373456
