can you please add a logfile of owncloud-client, to get an idea what wents 
wrong:

owncloud --logfile /tmp/occ.log

Please also keep in mind, that ~beta1 was accidently pushed to unstable and 
~beta1->~beta1+really1.6.3+dfsg-1 is a downgrade.
