The unfortunate problem with this is that the upstream maintainer of
the package is the same as the maintainer of the Debian package, so it
is unlikely that these changes will ever be fixed.
I have created a fork of the project and added support for the disc ID
tags as well as support for MP4 files. The fork is available at
http://github.com/demonbane/audio-file. You can also find a 'debian'
branch there with the full debian/ directory structure for easy
