Package: clive
Version: 2.2.0-1
Severity: normal

	Hi!

I can't understand why clive switched from being XDG standard compliant
to historical old-style configuration file location. What's the
rationale behind that switch? It's a bad step and does not really help
the users...

Pretty please be adviced to check the basedir spec[1] again and
understand why it is a good thing. An immensly cluttered homedirectory
isn't helpful.

Thanks, please, with sugar on top.
Rhonda
