Agreed, the revival of useless README in $pkg.docs is really annoying.

Is it possible to have a non-autogenerated README *with* that option?
At least in theory it could also be possible to use pod2text over the
"main" module and compare the result with the contents of the README
file. Such approach would also work for other build systems, but would
need a way to determine which is the "main" module. Any ideas?
