Request for new package : Config::Merge

Thank you very much, Nicholas.

After "googling", I found several ways of asking for a new Debian Perl package. I didn't use reportbug because I didn't know if it would have worked behind a proxy-firewall. But well, I know... "RTFM" :-)

Is reportbug the only way to post such a request ? Could you please point me to some links that explain the official procedure ?

Thanks again,

Yvon

Yvon,
It's gone as far as it can for now. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=609562 .

Yvon,
I am sure we can manage this, though I have no idea when new packages will next get processed.

I guess I should also point out that the preferred way of requesting a package is to enter an RFP (Request for package) bug report against the WNPP pseduo package using the reportbug tool.

Hello !

Would it possible to have a new package from the module Config::Merge (CPAN VERSION 1.01) ?

Thanks!

Yvon
