We can, but then we have to work around the missing $HOME in sbuild
in debian/rules. Not sure if this is a huge improvement; but I'm also
not sure about other solutions.

If I interpret the output in carnil's log correctly, I assume that
`getpwuid($<))[7]' is empty; could we just check that and skip the
tests?
