Can I suggest that you:
- I guess we have to add a epoch 1: otherwise the new version is smaller
  than what is in sid now
- prepare preliminary package rady to dget
- prepare a debdiff (if it is not too big?)

Then when Danai comes back he can check, and either directly upload
or do his own changes.

If all fails, I will take a look at the packages and upload them
to a delayed queue.
