has some info about the issues involved. Making auth work with 2.4 
will need quite some work. Considering the lack of any response to Jan 
Kaluža's and my mails, and the general lack of man-power at mod_perl's 
upstream, I fear it does not look good for a 2.4 enabled mod_perl in 
wheezy.
