Sorry, my mistake: Biber v1.6.

Upstream GIT would be nice, but I have no idea how to do that with gbp or
any of the other tools.

I am afraid of using GIT branches.  I always get the wrong stuff in GIT,
probably because its workflow is unknown to me.

I would like to revert to an earlier upstream version of Biber with fewer
extra dependencies.  And then build a Debian package out of it, preferably
using Debian GIT and some commands + arguments that make sense.
