Upstream says this is an intended safety measure for not breaking user
crontabs. While this seems overly cautious to me given the tests
never actually manipulate those, I suppose it's not our place to
override it then.

I'll upload a new version with a build dependency on cron and the
'crontab -l' check back unless somebody protests.
