Ok , you probably saw a while ago i pushed a workaround based on
Cyril's #1 above to openjpeg.git. I have been waiting as i wanted to
see if i got a response from upstream w.r.t this issue, but the
question/patch as gone unanswered, so i think we should proceed anyway
(if you are happy with my implementation) and get a -3 into Debian
that then builds on all platforms and close the bug on the package.

So Cyril, if you are happy can we touch the timestamps and upload again?

I have also starting to look at the other jpeg2000 tools that could be
added to the -tools package but i am again hesitant to add them at
this stage as i don't want to have a massive breakage due to build
fails. How can i test a reasonable number of Architectures myself?, i
can easily test i386,amd64,powerpc and arm but the other processors
seem more of a challenge and many cannot be emulated (alpha is one
from what i understand).
