Hello,
FWIW the description does say that the software features RAW
support ("Create an HDR file from a set of images (formats: JPEG, TIFF
8bit and 16bit, RAW)" and "Supported HDR formats: [...] Raw image formats
(extension: various).")

libraw5 currently supports "(CRW/CR2, NEF, RAF, DNG, and others)."
Copying this info to the luminance-hdr description and trying to keep
it up to date somehow does not seem the right thing to me.
