imv debian/gbp.conf upstream setting

About debian/gbp.conf of this repo, it has the following tow lines:

upstream-branch =
upstream-tag = v%(version)s

also this repo has no upstream branch before, I just upload the upstream 
branch.

How about delete these two lines?
If do so, we can use gbp default way to import upstream.
