[php-maint] PHP + RRDTool

Hello Debian PHP Maintainers!!!!

 I need your help, please.

 I am network developer and in my work i need PHP with support of
RRDTool, until now i had  php4 (4.3.10-16) and php4-rrdtool  (1.04-11)
(among other modules), but now i want to switch to PHP5 (by now using
backports.org DEBs packages) but there is not php5-rrdtool package.

 Well, asking for support of RRDTool in PHP in the list of RRDTool, they
told me that a better support than php4-rrdtool is a contrib TGZ
(http://people.ee.ethz.ch/%7Eoetiker/webtools/rrdtool/pub/contrib/php_rrdtool.tgz)
for support PHP4 and PHP5. They have test this module with PHP4 and PHP5
with several RRDTool versions successfully.

 I have tried to compile this module with PHP5 DEB sources  (taken from
backports.org) without success (i able to compile DEB packages from
source, the problem is to integrate this module correctly) even i have
tried without success to follow the steps from this websites:

 So, i would like to ask you for help:

 1) can you integrate this module in the source the PHP5, so everybody
has a rrdtool module as a DEB package??

 2) send me a diff patch to apply so i can compile the DEBs from source.

 3) if not, can you help to modify PHP5 source so i was able to compile
DEB from modify source???
