unfortunately, i have no experience with kanotix nor do i know what your
current system configuration is.  my guess is that you have some mix of
debian and non-debian software on your system causing this conflict.

however, perhaps i can give you some information that will help:

phpapi-YYYYMMDD+lsf is a virtual package provided by the various php
SAPI packages (php4-cli, php4-cgi, libapache2-mod-php4, etc).  it could
be as simple as installing one of those, though afaik installing
php4-mysql shouldn't give that problem even when installing from
scratch.  my guess is that php4-mysql is from debian unstable but there
are non-debian packages conflicting with some package required along the
way, or your system no longer knows how to get the debian packages.
