yeah... you might want to make sure you get a good backup of that system
and give it a fsck'ing :)
to get the postrm script, grab:
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/php4-mcrypt/php4-mcrypt_4.3.10-1_i386.deb
and then run:
dpkg-deb --control php4-mcrypt_4.3.10-1_i386.deb ./foo
and the postrm script will be in ./foo
