[php-maint] libtool/aclocal(?) FTBFS on debian-sid

currently i'm seeing something like this when building in a sid chroot:

git-buildpackage-sid
<snip>
configure.in:1322: warning: LTSUGAR_VERSION is m4_require'd but not m4_defun'd
configure.in:1322: warning: LTVERSION_VERSION is m4_require'd but not m4_defun'd
configure.in:1322: warning: LTOBSOLETE_VERSION is m4_require'd but not m4_defun'd
<snip>
./configure with a bunch of args
<snip>
checking whether dlsym() requires a leading underscore in symbol names... ../configure: line 135921: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
../configure: line 135921: `_LT_AC_TRY_DLOPEN_SELF('

i don't seem to get this problem building outside the chroot, though it
might be due to the squeeze/sid mix on the system or other factors (maybe
alternatives?).

i'm guessing that it's either autoconf/aclocal related or libtool related,
but don't know more at this point. it also doesn't seem to make a difference
whether or not the last libtool-related patch is applied, which doesn't
really overlap with the codepath in debian/rules at this point anyway.

anyone else have an idea? i'll poke at it some more tomorrow i guess.
