[php-maint] Switching php-net-smtp to Git

Hi Guillaume,

I saw that you are as uploader for php-net-smtp. This package is
maintained under the pkg-php Alioth group. Before Squeeze, I fixed an RC
bug in the package, but didn't hear from you.

Currently, madduck is asking to have a backport of php-net-smtp in
Lenny. He needs it to be able to do a backport of Roundcube 0.5.

My issue is that php-net-smtp is currently maintained using SVN, and I
both don't like, and don't know enough SVN. Do you mind if I switch it
to using Git, so that there will be more consistency with other PEAR
packages, and that will ease my work?

If I don't hear from you within 2 or 3 days, I'll switch the package to
Git, I will update the package in SID (it's currently version 1.4.2 when
upstream is 1.5.2, so it's really lacking behind) and I'll do the
requested backport right after the package is migrated to Testing.
