Hi Jack,

Since there was concerns over the delayed for asking the package to be
orphaned, I have made a quite invasive NMU (eg: with all the changes
that I wished, not a normal NMU), and uploaded the result into the
delayed queue.

Jack, if you still read this email address, this means the package is
currently in a 7 days delayed queue. After this delay, the package will
get into Debian SID using the new upstream 1.3.4 version and
pkg-php-tools, and all the changes I made will be there. If you want to
oppose to this non-maintainer upload, it isn't to late. You have 7 days
to do so. I will happily sponsor an upload from you if you decide to
change this. Note that all of my work is available from Alioth using Git:

Vcs-Browser: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-php/php-codesniffer.git
Vcs-Git: http://git.debian.org/git/pkg-php/php-codesniffer.git

Now, if we still have no news from you after this 7 days delay, that
will be a total of 17 days without any reply from your side. I will then
consider that you are MIA (Missing In Action), and I will ask to have
php-codesniffer to be orphaned, so that we can adopt the package inside
the PKG PHP PEAR team.

Note that none of the above events are kicking you away from maintaining
php-codesniffer. There's always an opportunity for you to join the team
and continue your past work.

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)
