Sure no worries. I actually just managed, with two additional hacks, to
make the tests suite pass while providing an autoload.php file for all
bridges and bundles (I’ll push that after the aforementioned rebase). I
thus now intend to update the DEP-8 bits and upload symfony with static
autoload.php files everywhere once I’m done with it (i.e., probably in a
few hours, the time to make additional tests).

That should allow us to use these autoload.php file more widely, by simply
depending on a version (>= 2.4) of any php-symfony-* package (they are
used pretty widely already, so adding this “feature” in symfony allows us
to move forward).
