I don't think a condescending insult is a good response to a bug
report, perhaps you do.

Okay. The error has only started occurring within the past few days,
but the ‘pulseaudio’ package hasn't changed on this host for weeks. I
don't know how to diagnose the problem further, would a full strace
run be useful?
