Hi there!

Alexander, you got this email because you reported #596896, which was
merged with #605479.

It seems your problem is linked to the fact that ALSA does not know how
to use PulseAudio. This this should have been fixed by the following
commit, which ended in pulseaudio_0.99.1-1:

  <http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-pulseaudio/pulseaudio.git;a=commitdiff;h=830274267f3486224f57a694cc044c5706ccd8bc>

Starting from that version, there is no more need to configure any
asound.conf: everything is done by /usr/share/alsa/pulse-alsa.conf,
which is loaded by default by /usr/share/alsa/pulse.conf when PulseAudio
is running.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
