I was under the impression that puppetca --clean --all does not
require an argument, and perhaps it fails to know what to do properly
if it has one. The --help information is unclear about the option
parsing here. Try it without the 'vera.madduck.net' and see what it
does... but be warned, the purpose of the --all is to clean out ALL
your pending certificates... which it doesn't sound like you are
trying to do by specifying a specific certificate. So you either want
to clean them all out, or you want to clean out just the
vera.madduck.net one. If its the latter, then you will want to remove
the --all.
