Hi,

I want to pack 0.24.6. Micah wrote to use git-buildpackage. I read a bit
of here [1] but now I'm unsure. Too many tutorials out there...

I have checked out puppet.git from git.debian.org. I guess I will have
to add a tracking branch referring upstream git (0.24.6 tag) from
reductivelabs.com, right? And then rebaseing the new version into a
local branch to merge the changes. And then generate the patch to submit
it? Or so... But where to put in git-buildpackage?

Or do I have to work on a final release (.tar.gz) from reductivelabs.com
and go the way with git-import-orig?

Andreas
