Probably, although I've definitely used example init scripts for other
distributions in the past when they're available from upstream.  I wasn't
thinking so much for someone building a new Debian package from upstream,
like the original request, but someone who just wants to see a few
techniques for writing init scripts for Puppet while he works on his own
scripts for SuperLinux or some such thing.
