Legacy driver status

I just spent some time trying to follow upstream and Debian versioning.
Hopefully this information is of use to others.  The "upstream CVS"
dates are the dates of the last change.  The "upstream git" date is
based on the date of patches posted to rt2400-devel (the git repository
is currently down).
