The firmware files are supposed to be included in the next version of
the firmware-nonfree source package and will end up in the firmware-rt61
and firmware-rt73 binary packages. We don't include them in the rt2x00
packages because (1) they are non-free (2) they're not in the source
repository for rt2x00.
