Remove legacy drivers from unstable?

Hi,
The rt2x00 project has decided to retire the legacy drivers¹, arguing
that the new drivers have been in the kernel for long enough and
distributions have switched to them. Therefore I think it doesn't make
much sense for Debian to keep the old drivers which have already
bit-rotten (e.g., rt73-source does not build against 2.6.27 or newer²).
Personally, I switched from rt73 to rt73usb in 2.6.26, and I have not
regretted it. Bug #518244 persuaded me to finally ditch rt73-common and
rt73-source for good.
Regards,
Sven
