OK, I got that solved by adding the following to config.txt:

cma_lwm=16
cma_hwm=256
cma_offline_start=16

…and removing cma=128 (which should in the first place have been
cma=128M) from cmdline.txt again.

However, despite tiwddling with config.txt even more, I cannot seem to
get the analog audio output to work (and the HDMI audio has no controls
in alsamixer).
