Whenever the initramfs is updated, the comdline.txt and config.txt files are overwritten with the default settings. This results in a frozen Xfce desktop after which I have to Ctrl-Alt-F2 to login as root and change these files manually.<br>

I tried to find a way to write a hook script for initramfs-tools but I don't know how to run it after the initramfs update has finished.<br>

Can this behavior be prevented?<br>
