Hi,

this was fixed in 3.4.4, so it's going to be OK in the next Debian release
(Etch has 3.4.5). Unfortunately, the same bug is still present in the 3.6
branch. I'm closing this bug and cloning a new one for request-tracker3.6
accordingly.

For 3.6, this was recently fixed as SVN r7043, so it's going to be
OK in 3.6.4. I'm attaching a backported patch for 3.6.1-4, which
is going to be released with Etch.

Thanks for your report,
