Glad to help :)   I checked the other repo's and indeed it seems they don't use
any of the tricks as implemented in pkg-perl/setup-repository .  I'll try to
investigate enabling the commit-message-to-mailinglist for the other repo's
soonish.  (And then there's KGB too...)
