Yes, well, we had the discussion about this before. The conclusion was
to filter it yourself. However, now we have almost twice the package and
thus twice the work, I think we can split it off.  On the project page I
have noticed that wew already have a pkg-ruby-extras-commit list? 
Shall we make use of it.. anyone who opposes?

I agree too. At the moment there seems to be no open issues.

We should consider candidates, and create it quickly indeed. It is not
much work.  Since this is one of two goals of the team, I think we might
be able to talk to some people and get it through.
