I have sponsored these packages for David when he wasn't a Debian
developer yet, so I am familiar with them. However, I don't think I
should take main responsibility of them (all).
In our team each package has a main responsible person and the rest of
the team helping out. If you are familiar with any of these packages or
want to become familiar, you could help out by joining the team,
importing the packages into our packages-WIP (work in progress) tree
and modify them so they fit the teams requirements. For this you
probably have to become familiar with our procedures and tools but
they are quite well documented by now.
P.S. I Cc-ed our mailing list.
