I cannot reproduce the bug on x86_64.
Here is a recipe to obtain the debugging symbols :
(in a temp dir)

apt-get build-dep ruby-gnome2
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip apt-get source -b ruby-gnome2
dpkg -i *.deb
