Because I have the impression that the Debian Med team has no Ruby
experts on board it might be reasonable if the Ruby team throws in
technical experience.  As a Debian Pure Blend we just observe it in
our tasks[1] and bugs[2] pages (the fact that no "new version available
bug is filed shows that we need to implement according DEHS pages
as well).

Just keep us informed if a Ruby packager is taking over the job or
whether we should try to see what we might be able to do.
