We are quite far away in the release process of squeeze. Usually,
new features also bring new bugs, so Debian has a strategy of not
accepting newer releases so that we can shake out old bugs without
adding new ones.

If the new nokogiri release had only bug fixes, it could be possible to
ask for permission to upload it to squeeze. But it doesn't look possible
since it also contain new features.

So it's better to backport the most important bugfixes to the version
currently in squeeze.
