The problem was probably that you're a DM trying to hijack
libcairo-ruby that is both in ruby-cairo *and* in libruby-cairo, as
rmadison or dak indicate:

~ rmadison libcairo-ruby
  libcairo-ruby | 1.2.0-1 | etch | source, all
  libcairo-ruby | 1.5.1-1+lenny1 | lenny | source, all
  libcairo-ruby | 1.8.1-1 | squeeze | source, all
  libcairo-ruby | 1.8.1-1 | wheezy | source, all
  libcairo-ruby | 1.8.1-1 | sid | source, all
  libcairo-ruby | 1.10.0-1 | sid | all

(notice the two entries for sid).

BTW, I noticed that ruby-cairo FTBS on all arches excepted intel. Did
you have a look at that ?

   Cheers,

	Vincent

His followers called him Mahasamatman and said he was a god. He
preferred to drop the Maha- and the -atman, however, and called
himself Sam.

Vincent, not listening to anything for now
