[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#251824: this should be reopened now the CUPS is selected by default it appears there is no way to use lprng without cups

Ok, you are 100% correct and it's my mistake for not looking in the 
right places.
I did look at the "changelog.Debian.gz" and understood it's CUPs by 
default but did not look at the NEWS.debian update.

On the other hand can you add leave your note to the end of the closed 
bug item as that bit was rather easy to find.
